Major ECQ sale completed
ECQ has
recently completed a major sale of our entire training material to
Connect - Institute for Research, Education and Development in Graz, Austria.
Regina Egger, Head of Connect commented, "the
material is brilliant and I really like working with it! I have just
started to use... ECQ training but can see the potential for staff.

2007 World Forum
Representatives from Early Years
Childcare had the privilege of being invited to speak at the 2007 World
Forum on Early Care and Education in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
The three day event was intended as an
exchange of research and ideas to improve childcare worldwide, and was
attended by 700 delegated from over 70 countries.

Accreditation from the
National Open College Network
We are pleased to announce that ECQ
has now received full accreditation from the National Open College
Network (NOCN). This recognises that the ECQ programme maps to the
national framework that is used to measure childcare skills and
competency in the UK.
International students will receive
certification from NOCN.

Visit to Malaysian
Government
ECQ Project Manager, Beryl Carroll was
honoured to receive a special invitation to address the Malaysian
government as part of their joint efforts with the British High
Commission, to promote and develop better childcare practice in the
country.
Beryl gave a presentation of the ECQ
training material and the importance of staff development and
reflective practice.
